Situation 1

It’s the night before the Big Exam.

For weeks you’ve been skipping class or, when you did show up, wiling away your classroom hours by texting back-and-forth with your friends.
Now, with imminent failure facing you, you decide to go blow off steam with your friends. Hung-over and unprepared, of course you fail the Big Exam.
Which means you fail the class and, since your GPA has slipped to an unacceptable level, you lose your athletic scholarship.

Choosing not to face a person's responsibilities lead a persons to failure. In this situation, skipping class and decide to not study lead the person to fail the big exam and the course.

You can choose your actions,
or you can choose your consequences,
 but you can’t choose both.

  • Discuss your progress, discoveries and set backs.
I actually thought to do stories and situations because then I can discovered new choices.

  • What have you learned about your topic?
I learned new situations.

  • What have you learned about yourself?
I learned how to not commit the same error as that person.

  • Where do you go from here?
Next week I would do another situation.
